As for someone copying their cams...it wouldn't take any effort to remove the cam from the assembled head and take measurements, so I don't think that is their reason. If they have a much smaller base circle than the stock cams, I could understand their reasoning. Many shops don't measure the valve stem height, as it is not listed in the service manual. Or maybe the base circle isn't the problem. Maybe the heads need to be notched for lobe clearance. Or maybe I'm talking out of my ass. : dunno : I was considering buying a set of their cams, but my heads are already done, so there goes that idea.
And, yes, this board is full of haters. Get used to it. A large proportion of members on this board are well educated and more conservative in their opinions of aesthetics.
